Adams County Dems – Reorg 2023

The Adams County Democrats will have a Reorganization Meeting on Saturday, February 4. We will meet at Northglenn Middle School, 1123 Muriel Drive, Northglenn. Check in will be at 12:00, gavel at 1:00. We will select party officers and other positions for the Executive Committee. We will also select members to the multi-county house and senate districts, the congressional districts, judicial district and state executive and central committees.Members of the Adams County Democrats Central Committee will be eligible to vote on these position.

Adams County Positions

The following county-wide positions will be elected for a 2 year term:

Chair

Vice Chair

2^nd Vice Chair

Treasurer

Assistant Treasurer

Secretary

Assistant Secretary

For House and Senate Districts entirely in Adams County, (HD 31,32, 34 SD 24) the following positions will be elected for a 2 year term:

House District

Chair

Vice Chair

Secretary

Treasurer

Senate District

Chair

Vice Chair

Secretary

Captains/Co-Captains

Each House District is broken into several captaincy districts. Captains and Co-Captains, who are members of the County Executive Committee will be selected.

Multi County Central Committee Members

We will also be voting for central committee members where House or Senate districts span more than one county. The final elections for these positions will be held on a district level by the respective Central Committees.

House District and Senate District bonus members

We will vote for bonus members as described above for multi county central committee members.

Multi-County House Districts: 24, 29, 33, 35, 36, 48, 56

Multi-County Senate Districts: 13, 19, 21, 25, 28

Congressional Judicial Districts

We will also select bonus members to the central committees for CD 6, 7, and 8 and JD 17. These bonus members, along with their peers from other counties, will vote to establish final leadership positions for these districts.

Multi-County House Districts: 24, 29, 33, 35, 36, 48, 56

Multi-County Senate Districts: 13, 19, 21, 25, 28

Multi-County Judicial District: JD 17

Multi-County Congressional Districts: 4,6,7,8

State-wide Positions

We will vote to establish Adams County bonus members to both the State Executive Committee and the State Central Committee.
