We are horrified by the attack that occurred Sunday, June 1, 2025, at Boulder’s Pearl Street Mall. This act of violence, especially against those advocating for peace, is unconscionable.
Our hearts go out to the victims, their families, our Jewish neighbors, and the entire Boulder community. We stand in solidarity with all affected and reaffirm our commitment to combating hate and promoting unity.
We applaud the quick actions of Boulder’s first responders. According to news outlets, during a peaceful walk organized by “Run For Their Lives” to advocate for the release of hostages held in Gaza, a suspect allegedly used incendiary devices, including a makeshift flamethrower, to target participants. Seven individuals, aged between 67 and 88, sustained injuries, with one in critical condition.
The investigation is ongoing. We will post opportunities to help once more is learned.
